SICK OF SARAH Go On Tour!

by Lauren Wood

That's right, you heard it correctly. Queer all-female band Sick of Sarah are embarking on a full tour of the US starting today!

Sick of Sarah, alongside duo Uh Huh Her, are actually the only current lesbian band I listen to; my music taste is generally stuck in the 1970s. I don't think you need any more proof that these ladies are worth a listen!

Check out their tour dates here:

You can find more information about tickets on the band's website, http://sickofsarah.com/.

VIDEO: Who's at DINAH SHORE 2014?!

by Lauren W

So you'll probably know that the Dinah Shore Weekend kicked off this week, but who is there?

Our very own Bo Sellers (writer here at All Things Lesbian) is there, and she's letting the whole of Dinah - and the Twitterverse - know about it!

Yup, that's Bo on the red carpet!

She also appears to have managed to get a selfie with Abisha Uhl, of the awesome lesbian band, Sick of Sarah.

The Dinah Shore 2014 gang have also sent us this video to share with you. Keep your eyes peeled for the celesbians!

Join the Celesbians at Dinah Shore's Dodgeball Match

Did you know that the Dinah Shore weekend hosts its own celesbian vs. Dinah go-go dancers dodgeball game?

No? Check this out!

(Click HERE for a bigger version of the above image!)

Palm Springs, CA – Club Skirts and Sirius XM Radio are bringing back by popular demand the famously entertaining Fourth Annual "Celebrity Dodge Ball Match" at The Dinah this year again.
The game will kick off with an exclusive, never seen-before, face off featuring our very own Dinah Go-Go Dancers versus the Celesbian team.
Sporting their trademark go-go booty shorts and dancer tops on, the super sexy Go-Go dancers will play two sets against the returning champs, Team Celesbians.
It’s on! The Dinah go-go dancers team has officially challenged the Celesbians!
“We plan on beating the celesbians by using our sex appeal and our athletic body!!!  Keep in mind, we’re the girls who get up first thing in the morning and run in the sand.  So, to my pretty celesbians: bring it!!!.” says  Lupe Coronado captain of the go-go dancers team.
“The Celesbians are a lean, mean, ball dodging machine and gyrating dancers will not divert us from the path of victory!” comments Doria Biddle, host of Sirius XM Radio “Out Q” and captain of the Celesbian team.
The tournament will then be open to Dinah goers who will have the chance to play an exciting game against some of the celebrities part of the 2013 Dinah talent-roster all for the fun of it!
A chance to brag, to gloat and to show this season celebrity players featuring Fortune Feimster, Jill Bennett, Rose Garcia, Kelsey Grace Chavarria, Nicole Pacent, Haviland Stillwell, Kim Stolz, Abisha Uhl, Lea Lorraine, Gloria Bigelow, Doria Biddle and Romaine Patterson - among many others - what it really takes to dodge some balls and bring home the trophy!
Hosted by Sirius XM Radio personalities Doria Biddle and Frank DeCaro, the Celebrity Dodgeball Game will be held on Saturday, April6 at 11:00am at The Hilton Hotel Main Pool.
Will our celebrity Dodge Ball stars take home the trophy again?

Interview with Tucky Williams

Well, its the moment many of you have been waiting for: an interview with Girl/Girl Scene's Tucky Williams!

So, without further ado...

All Things Lesbian: Where did you find the inspiration to create Girl/Girl Scene?

Tucky Williams: I wanted to see a show that depicted what life was like for me and my friends, and there wasn't anything like that out there.

So the thing most readers asked was if you could give us any spoilers about Girl/Girl
Scene. Can you give us any hints on what fans should expect next on the show?

More Bender, more Avery, and more Ling. Those characters became really popular with the audience, so I gave them more screen time.

We read somewhere a while ago that you did not have funding for the series. Do you
have funding now? If not, how do you do it?!

The show is made on a modest budget. We’re only able to pull it off due to the dedication of the cast and crew and our belief that we’re making something great.

Are you hoping to carry on with more seasons of the web series?

That, and The Christmas Special.

Do you have any other projects in the running?

My friend Amber and I spent one weekend making a short film, just for fun with my FlipCam. It’s a found-footage movie. Some people saw it, and now it looks like we’re going to develop it into a real thing.

A lot of people tweeted saying how hot your voice was. Can you sing?

I’m a classically-trained singer. A contralto, obviously. But I can’t sing pop or rock to save my life.

Fan question time!:

“How did you meet Abisha?” – Bridget, New Jersey.

Through a bizarre series of events that the universe conspired to make happen. I accidentally wound up at a Sick of Sarah show in North Carolina. I vaguely knew who she was, and vice versa. We sort of kept in touch. I ran into her again in West Hollywood six months later, and I asked her to be on the show.

“What do you listen to on your iPod? Apart from Sick of Sarah, of course!” – Becky, England.

Lights! I’m in love with her.

“Are any of the storylines in G/GS based on things that have happened to you in real life?” – Jamie, California.

They are all based on things that have happened to me or to someone I know. Sometimes I’m accused of making the show too over-the-top, but I always laugh because I know that all of this stuff really happened.

Thanks you gays for all of the fan questions you sent in - they were awesome!
