From a small, one-night event at a Palm Springs museum with 1,500 participants twenty-five years ago, to booking lavish locations at deluxe hotels over five days of epic pool parties and world-class entertainment, The Dinah has evolved into one of Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley’s largest tourism boosters.

Pop sensation and 2015 Grammy nominee Meghan Trainor known for her infectious hit “All About that Bass” headlines the Dinah during the Black Party held Saturday, April 4 at the Palm Springs Convention Center.

Also set to top the bill at the epic lesbian party is international Billboard Top 40 superstar Christina Perri, the extraordinary voice behind the hits “Jar of Hearts” and “A Million Years” who headlines the White Party on Friday, April 3 at the Convention Center. Joining them are pop music’s new “it” girls Bebe Rexha and Ivy Levan.

The Dinah 2015 will also be rocked with special performances by club diva Crystal Waters (“100% Pure Love”, “Gypsy Woman”), disco legend Rose Royce (“Car Wash”), and Holy Child, Olivia Sommerlyn, and E11leven. 

On the comedy front, “The Dinah Comedy Night” hosted by Suzanne Westenhoefer will be headlined by Dana Goldberg, Gloria Bigelow and Dinah Leffert.

Fortune Feimster, who landed her writer/performer spot with "Chelsea Lately" six months after her appearance on "Last Comic Standing" where she was a semifinalist, will be joined by another Last Comic Standing alumni, British comic Gina Yashere, and stand up’s fastest rising star, Erin Foley.

Guaranteeing a laugh-fest, Feimster, Foley, and Yashere offer the perfect explosive mix of comedy! The loveable Southern comic, Fortune Feimster is a full-time writer and performer on E!'s popular late night talk show "Chelsea Lately" with Chelsea Handler . When not giving funny commentary on the latest news in pop culture, she can be seen imitating the likes of Khloe Kardashian, Christina Aguilera, Honey Boo Boo, and Mama June.

Her co-star, Gina Yashere has been a stand up and TV star in the UK for several years.  She broke onto the American comedy scene with her appearances on NBC’s Last Comic Standing  (where she made it to the final 10) and on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (NBC), as Madame Yashere, The Surly Psychic. The Hollywood Reporter recently named her "one of the top 10 rising talents". Her bombastic delivery, infectious personality and cheeky observations have wowed audiences not just in the UK and the US, but also around the world.

Without a doubt one of the lesbian community’s favorite rising stars, Erin Foley is a hugely talented comedian with a style and wit that has earned her a strong and respectable following. Queer As Folk's Thea Gill Stars in "Failing Upwards"

So, lesbians. I'm not sure how many of you watched Queer as Folk (I certainly didn't), but great news if you were a fan of Thea Gill on the show: she's starring in the web series finale of 'Failing Upwards'!

I did see Thea in the ultra-gay, ultra-camp TV show, Dante's Cove, so I know she's a legit talent... But what exactly is Failing Upwards, you ask?

"Failing Upwards" is a brand new feel good comedy web series about unemployment and the hilarity of finding a job…even if you have to lie to get one.

Failing Upwards stars writers/creators: Alma Award-Winning actress Michelle C. Bonilla (Celena) and Matt Crabtree (Charlie). Rounding out the cast are writers Deidra Edwards (Annabelle) and Pip Lilly (Pip). The guest cast includes Thea Gill, Stephanie Erb, and Gerald McCullouch.

What openly out actors Michelle Bonilla and Matt Crabtree have created is not just another web series but a timely social series that creates comedy out of heart break, provides a chuckle to those who “pound the pavement” every single day, and most importantly show how little it takes to reverse some of the negative psychological effects that come with being unemployed and living off of "survival jobs". 

Via the series' official website, they also gives back to the job seeking community by supplying online viewers with links to job source sites, discounts, tips, and relevant news topics of the day.
